Hi ... after a rigorous search on the Net, I could get the images of Thrikoneswar and Sankari devi from Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. I heard that the temple of Sankari devi which was exactly on the peak of a hill was ruined by foreign invadors. However, it is believed that the idol of amma has been preserved in the present temple which is by the side of the place where the idol originally used to be.

Thank you Bharadwaja. Ya, The previous temple is said to be ruined by Portuguese invasion. Your third photo is very nice. It is showing a complete view of the temple.
