Tirupati to Srikalahasti :
Srikalahasti is well connected by Road and Railway routes. It is about 38 - 40 km distance from Tirupati. After 12 km from Tirupati we reach Renigunta, where Renigunta airport is present. After a journey of another 15 km we reach Yerpedu. Here Malayalaswamy established Vyasa asramam in 1926, after completion of his tapasya in Tirupati. After a journey of another 15 km we can reach Srikalahasti temple. Sri kalahastiswra temple is present on the banks Suvarnamukhi river. It is a very old and big temple complex. Gnanaprasunamba temple is also present in the same campus. Rahu ketu puja is very famous in this temple. Many people came to this place to get rid off their Rahu ketu doshas. Sreekalahasthiswara linga is Vayu linga and one of the Panchabhoota lingas. Bhakata Kannappa temple is also present on small hill which is present beside the main temple complex.
